Every great operation has a steady hand behind the scenes, and for us, that’s Daniel. We named this piece Daniel’s Wise Council as a tribute to the man who never stops working—the architect of our AI systems and the person we turn to for grounded advice when things get hectic in our candle shop. Just like the pillar of strength he is for our business, this candle stands tall as a symbol of discernment and integrity.

​This 5.5-inch artisan pillar features the iconic trio—Mizaru, Kikazaru, and Iwazaru—stacked in a vertical totem. The legend of the Three Wise Monkeys finds its roots in 17th-century Japan, famously carved above the door of the Tōshō-gū shrine. While often interpreted today as "turning a blind eye," the original philosophy was a code of conduct: a reminder to maintain a clean mind and a kind heart by refusing to let negativity dwell within us.

​We’ve brought this ancient wisdom to life using a specialized multi-tonal, tri-colored molding process. This technique creates a striking depth that highlights the intricate texture of the fur and the expressive features of each figure. At roughly 4.5 oz, it is a substantial piece of functional art.
